We tried this place for dinner one evening. We were greeted at the door and sat right away. They do fill up quickly so get there early if you want to get a seat right away. We ordered the Fried Artichokes and some Garlic Knots. Both were just delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered a Meat Lovers pizza which was cooked to perfection. Even though they were busy the care that was put into making and cooking the pizza was just amazing in the way it tasted and looked. They are a small family run place so you will see the owners there almost all the time. They are open for lunch at 11:00am and close early for 8:30pm on weekends and 7:30pm during the week and are closed on Sundays. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. You will usually be checked on by one of the owners during your meal. We cannot wait to return and try some of the pasta dishes they have available. A lot of care goes in to making the food at these restaurant and you can taste it in every bite.
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food made from scratch its soo good. Will be our favorite Italian spot. Prices are great and reasonable, our servers was kind and helpful..
This is an excellent restaurant! Definitely check out the desert display too. We got to rock out to the fantastic stylings of an accordion. Food was delicious and fast. I recommend the garlic knots & the chocolate cake for funsies. Fried shrimp hero (pictured) is tasty as was the spinach ravioli.
Brooklyn born Italian here. This tastes like my Grandmothers authentic sauce. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Arizona. Hands down the best Pizza hands down the best pasta and sauce. Hands down the best rice balls I’ve ever had!!
this place never disappoints .
please add the grilled chicken as an add on item to the online menu . you can order it in the resturant but not online. i just want add grilled chicken to the fetichini pesto dish and to the calzones . thanks . your food is really great . also fun boxes
The food is amazing and very delicious. The staff treats you like family and when I was there, they hired a musician to play the accordion. I'm definitely going to return along with my sis who is a regular. There's more dishes I have to try. Definitely an ultimate dining experience in Mesa, AZ. Delicious food, drinks and staff.
The place is well established and we went on a Friday for lunch and they had one person running the front of house. We had to wait nearly 10 min to be acknowledged and seated but the lady was very nice. The place smelt so nasty though that I lost much of my appetite but my friend wanted to eat here. The food was just ok. I got the vodka pasta and it was tangy and salty, and my friend get a side salad and cheese pizza. I tried a slice and it wasn't great. Happy to support a local family business but probably won't come here ever again.
It wasn't great. Everything looked pretty good when we got it but the looks were deceiving.
We got a pizza, a Stromboli and some garlic bread.
First off, the garlic bread, and I don't know any other way to describe this, tasted like how a nail salon smells. So, not good. It reminded me strongly of nail polish remover.
The pizza was average at best but I ordered it with extra cheese and either they forgot to add it or the normal amount is miniscule. The crust was also very tough and hard to chew. It was edible but I wouldn't order it again.
The Stromboli was the most disappointing. When we cut into it, the dough inside was still raw and we did double check to make sure it wasn't just a cheese pull. It wasn't.
To give it a decent shot we cooked it a little longer but even fully cooked it was still bad. There was no flavor at all and the cheese had that cheap waxy feel to it. It was pouring out grease. It was just bad.
Overall, not worth the time or money spent. Will not be ordering from here again unfortunately.
